Good Day gentlemen (and ladies). My name is Donnie and I am a Marine who served from 1989-1993. I am here because I am looking to help a friend and fellow Marine. I currently work with a young man who served honorably in the Marine Corp. from 1997-2004. His father is/was a retired Marine (1st Sgt.) and passed away in 2004. The 1st Sgt's name was OV Morgan. My friends name is OV Morgan II. Anyway, the 1st Sgt entered the Marine Corps. between 1968-1970. Not sure exactly when. He served in Vietnam and returned to the U.S. His MOS was Motor T. He went to boot camp at San Diego and was on the Drill Field at Parris Island from 1978-1983. He retired around 1994 or so. He was raised in Chicago. Unfortunately, that is all the information I know. (Oh yeah, he is/was a dark green Marine) My buddy OV II is looking to find anyone who may have served with his dad but he is especially looking to find any pictures anyone may have with the 1st. Sgt. from any time period. His dad passed from cancer that was related to his Agent Orange exposure. He was only in his 50's. Unfortunately, as he moved around over the years, the family has lost a lot of the photographs and things from his time in the service. If any of you guys may know or served with Mr. Morgan....I would appreciate hearing from you and would be glad to put you in touch with OV II. Thanks Devil Dogs and Semper Fi!
