That's Great! Be sure to give yourself at least an hour to get to the graduation. Although the gate is just a short ride from most of the hotels, traffic will be heavy at the gate. I've seen folks still stuck in traffic only minutes before the graduation ceremonies were to begin. If you're going to be here for the 4th you'll get to enjoy the fireworks at Parris Island. They put on a wonderful display. Have a safe trip.

Thank You, we will be there for the forth where do you suggest we park to watch the fireworks. My twin girls were upset that we was not going to be able to walk down to the church to see them this year. I told them we would see them up there but they asked where? 11 year olds require more info than "I will find out when we get there." ha ha

If you go to the fireworks at PI they'll have parking for you. The town of Port Royal, which is directly across from PI usually starts theirs at 9pm. My wife and I usually just park on the bridge between PI and Port Royal Island to watch so we don't have to fight the traffic. I would recommend that you attend those at PI. Those are by far the best in the local area.

Do you know if they will let us on base before Graduation for the fireworks? And will we need to get a different auto pass for the event?

You should be able to get on the Island with your existing pass. I'll call over there today to confirm and let you know.

Spoke with the PI MP's this morning and the general public will be permitted to attend the fireworks on the 4th. All you'll need is a valid drivers license, Valid vehicle registration, and proof of insurance.

There was a Theta Pi Alpha at Penn State, but they've since merged with another sorority. You should be able to get on the Island with your existing pass.I'll call over there today to confirm and let you know. This helped me realize, like I understand how the society works now.
