I graduated LCpl Stiverson (Was a squad leader in basic), Platoon 148, September 1973. Our Sr. Drill Instructor was SSgt Melton and our Asst D.I.'s were SSgt Mills and SSgt Brannen. I stayed in 5 years and left as a SSgt. Sorry to hear you lost your book, did you ever get a copy? I'm currently in the Marine Corps League. Drop me a line when you get a chance. Semper Fi!

What a great site! I was just sitting here thinking I had lost my connection. My name is Kevin P. Hendon I was in " PI" in June of 1969 and graduated in August 1969.

Platoon 298 2nd Battalion in the the old wood barracks.

I have the copy of my graduation book but have lost the platoon picture or any contacts in my platoon.

Like many of us, I lost my graduation book when I went through a divorce back in the 70's

I spoke with the museum at MCRD San Diego and was told they don't have any. I'm hoping someone here knows where I can go from here.

If we don't have one on file here, or your platoon section in the database doesn't show someone having your book the next best place to look is Ebay. There is a lot of books being sold there.

I am the newest member of Foot Prints. My name is Roy P. Morris. I graduated Parris Island on June 18, 1969. Did my AIT at Camp Geiger and then skipped stones (Camp Pendleton, El Toro, & Okinawa on the way to Vietnam. One day after arriving in Da Nang, I was on my way to join the fight with Delta Co. 1/7 2nd Plt 1st Mar Div. I do not remember my Platoon # at PI or much about Nam, (PTSD).
