Gary Martin Battinich 61, Indianapolis, passed away July 25, 2012, peacefuly at home after a long battle with cancer. Born on March 14, 1951, in San Leandro, CA. he was the son of the late Roger George Battinich and June M. Clouse.
Gary was proud to have been a lifetime railroader, having been employed by Amtrak and CSX over the course of his career. He served as a Marine and was a Vietnam Veteran.
Gary is survived by his son, Nathan Battinich, wife, Gina; a sister, Debbie Hill, husband Larry; four grandchildren, Heather and tyler Battinich, and Bailey and Makenna Cook; a niece, Wendy Ruff, and her children, Ben, Lindsey and Max. Gary is also survived by dear friend and caregiver, Mollie McMillan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Little Red Door. Arrangements entrusted to Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel.
