Capt. Brian Barron class of 65 passed on this past year.(Quantico) He was a platoon leader at Con Thein . He always was called upon to grab his gear and get his guys outside the wire so much. He thought the old man, Col. Hall , was tryin' to kill him.

Well first off I want to wish all you folks and your families a very Merry Christmas. Then I want to reflect what this site and all you Former Marines help me appreciate what I have today and always.Pretty good health and a reason to get out of bed every day, just sometimes slower than before. I have noticed in my corner of the country that
us old vets are getting more RESPECT that we did during the mid 60's through 70's. Since I have Marine Corps stickers on my truck and flags in my office,I get "Thanks for your service" Anyhow Thanks to you all, enjoy and God Bless you and our Great Country. Some where way back in the last century I enlisted into the United States Marine Corp. In June it will have been 50 years since i reported to Parris Island South Carolina. I remember that we agreed to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. The Constitution belongs to the people of the United States, (hence) We the People, not US the government. There is not viable way that the Peoples Constitution can be defended without the Second Amendment and our right to bear weapons. Every Marine knows that our weapons must equal or exceed those that wish to destroy our nation and us.
If anyone knows that we have weapons they are cautious. In my little corner of this nation I am doing all I can to stop crime and senseless killing but taking the weapons of safety from "We the Marines" is destroying our nation and eventually our Corp. Semper Fi to All. ATTENTION stand up for our Second Amendment. I Love you one and ALL. PSG Carter
Jesus, Bless the USMC and Country.
