Is there any one still living that served with PFC Jim Tom Burcham, Co F, 2nd Bat., 23rd Marines. Killed on Sipan June 20th 1944. I believe he was a driver for a amphibious craft that carried troops ashore. He was from Oklahoma (Bokoshe) Buried at some point in Carlsbad N.M. where his parents were living (Clyde and Hester) Looking for information about his death as well as his service up to that point 6-20-1944. I am a distant cousin My Grandmother was raise with that family after her parents were killed in a tornado in 1927.
Thanks Dennis dj-236@hotmail.com |

Dennis,
To get information regarding PFC Burcham's service, you would need to file a request for service records (information) from the National Archives: http://www.archives.gov/veterans/evetrecs/index.html In the request, you will need PFC Burcham's Social Security Number or Service Number. If you do not have that information in your family's records, you may try contacting the cemetery where he is buried to see if they have any documents with this information. The cemetery will require that you prove to them that you are a relative to release any information to you due to privacy concerns. I hope this helps you some. Nancy |

I might be able to help here.
I am curious why Fox Co. was selected for this thread? |

This thread deals with Fox Company because the book it came from contains several companies, battalions, etc. It is easier to locate a picture in a thread if the thread only contains one company.
