Recruit Graduation Books

Any recruit graduation book I have listed at YFP ---

is available to any Marine who graduated with the platoon shown in the book, once the book's photos have been posted to the database. These graduation books are also available to any family member of a Marine pictured in the specific graduation book. Just contact me via PM.

And as I have done in the past, anyone may request an individual picture of a Marine either in one of the graduation books or the Special Interest Books and Names forum. Just drop me a PM with the Marine's name, the thread (platoon book) that the picture appears in, and an email address for where I am to send the picture. I will rescan the individual photo and email it to you. The picture will not be very large and may be a bit grainy because of the older papers used in some of these books, but it will be bigger than the picture shown in the individual thread or book.

for a platoon book, or looking for a Marine brother and sister you need to post as much information as you can. Some of the post above do not reflect some important information....
1. Location of boot camp i.e. Parris Island or San Diego
2. Year
3. month
4. Platoon number at graduation

Asan example, you should always post in the subject line platoon information so our search engine will find it. A good example; 1956, June, PI, platoon 110

Some months ago i wandered onto this site. I managed to lose all of my Marine Corps memorabilla in storage some 12 years ago. Lo and behold i find this site and found a Platoon photo of my Series. Platoon 2049 Parris Island South carolina Fox company. That felt Great i was able to print the photo take it into a shop and get it all nice and pretty. I just want to thank you for helping to restore a part of my life to me.

I am hoping that i can find my graduation yearbook through this same forum or anyone that i ate dirt with at that time.

:GI4 :Afew years ago while moving from one state to another, we lost my individual graduation photo and yearbook. The museum doesn't carry anything for that year. Can anyone help me? Graduation was 22 Aug. 1979, plt. 1037. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My oldest son recently graduated boot from MCRD SD in May 2009, and we wanted to have both of our photos and any memories hanging together. PLEASE HELP!!
